First off, it’s pronounced Law-luv-ee. Emphasis on the “law.” And no, my parents aren’t hippies. Though I’ve often thought I have a bit of hippie lurking inside me.
I love to laugh. I love people who make me laugh. I love situations that make me laugh. I’m pretty sure I married my husband because he made me laugh, a lot. When left to my own devices, I can be a rather serious, work horse kind of a gal, so I prefer not to be left to myself for too long. I’m hoping some of my laughter at life will spill into this blog.
To give you an idea of my perspective, I am a wife and mother of two. I work from home full-time as a writer/editor, so my week days are spent juggling work and kids and my weekends are spent catching up on everything else.
I am LDS, aka Mormon, so you all know what that means — I wear funny underwear and don’t drink coffee. Pretty shocking stuff, I know. We also believe in God and Christ and loving our fellowmen, so you might find a bit of that creep into my writing. You’ve been warned.
This blog is a place for me to explore ideas, inspire creativity, and push myself to think and study a little harder. Drop me a message if I write about anything you want to discuss — I always love a good dialogue.
